  Up here in Memphis for a contract with FedEx and I always look for local pubs and eateries that are good, very good or outstanding. My first three visits during July and August were very good to outstanding. I typically like to review the menu and order takeout, and the process at first was to do so at the bar, so why not have a beer (I like to sample local brews) while I decide what I want to order to go.
  
  My recent visit, after a very long drive back from home in Florida, not so great. Walk up to the bar and ask for a menu, with plans to come back for a beer after shopping at Sprouts nearby. Get told by the new bartender to place my order with the cashier about 15 to 20 feet away. Okay new process, I'll play. After ordering was told 35 minutes for the pizza, so I set my cell timer and went to Sprouts. At 30 seconds left (I decided to wait outside in the truck) I went back in only to find my pizza waiting and near cold.
  
  First mistake, Bartender. Is it really that much above you to take my order? Not in my opinion a people friendly new process. He lost out on me coming back in early after shopping for a beer, while I waited for my pizza order. ( I was considering joining the beer club & attending pint night but now I'll pass.) Second mistake, need to improve on timing when informing customers, if you've been around long enough in food service, you should have it down to a science & an art.
